France Defeats Australia 4-1

In a thrilling match that saw both teams exchange goals, France ultimately came out on top, defeating Australia 4-1 in the group stage of the FIFA World Cup.

Australia got on the board first with a goal from Craig Goodwin in the 9th minute, but France quickly answered back with a goal from Adrien Rabiot in the 27th minute. France then took the lead for good with goals from Olivier Giroud in the 32nd and 68th minutes, and Kylian Mbappe in the 71st minute.

Despite being outshot 21-4, Australia kept it close with some excellent goalkeeping, but ultimately couldn't find an equalizer.

France will next take on Denmark in the group stage, while Australia will face Tunisia.
